Companion Dentistry and Oral surgical’s cutting-edge equine surgical centre has proven to be a much-needed asset to our community. This facility, as well as the latest advanced high-tech equipment, allows our specialists to undertake numerous much-needed equine surgical treatments for horse owners.

For each small surgical procedure, the centre features two adjustable sets of indoor stocks. A big padded recuperation stall, an equine hoist for safe mobility, and a separate surgical room, all constructed to be clean and efficient. Everything from draught horses to miniatures can be accommodated.

We use Sevoflurane, a high-quality gas anaesthesia. An Equine Ventilator, ECG, Invasive Blood Pressure, Pulse Oximetry, and a Demand Valve are all part of our anaesthesia equipment. For seriously ill patients, such as foals and colics, we have a (ICU), Indoor Intensive Care Unit.
