Our Veterinary Team

Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist in
the Roaring Fork Valley, CO

Dr. Louise Marron, a Colorado native, is a dual board-certified veterinary dentist (one of only six in the United States). With an aptitude for science and a passion for connecting with animals, Dr. Marron recognized Veterinary Medicine was her calling as a young girl. She began working in her hometown veterinary clinic at age 13 and has never strayed off the veterinary path. She attended undergraduate college and veterinary school at Colorado State University. Upon earning a degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, she joined the team at Alpine Animal Hospital. She achieved diplomate status with the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) for all species in 2017. She achieved diplomate status within the Equine arm of the AVDC in 2022. Driven to focus entirely on her specialty, Dr. Marron continues to enjoy the challenges and rewards of her life’s work; now as a dentist and oral surgeon for animals.

Dr. Marron deeply values her family, friends, and the Carbondale community. Her four-legged family members include Laroche, a standard poodle, Honey, a molly mule steed for the mountainous backcountry, Mona, the giant tortoise, and ‘The Georges’ kitty duo. In her free time, Louise loves outdoor activities and travel.
